Five days before the league start it is already certain who will control the matches of the German Ringer League. Thus, chairman Uwe Steuler, who will also be active as a referee in the DRL, is able to come up with an illustrious list of names. Eberhard Probst has already officiated at top-level-matches and is even field-tested at the Olympic finals. The Stuttgart-based Helmut Steininger was still active in the National Wrestling League last season, Frank Richter and Sukruc Cakmak in the second division.

Uwe Steuler, who was still active in the final of the National Wrestling League in January 2017, is very satisfied with the list that is now being presented: „These are all accomplished referees who have proven for many years that they can officiate wrestling matches at the highest level.“

DRL Managing Director Markus Scheu joins in: „With the DRL we want to present wrestling at the highest level. This includes referees who have reached this level. Our thanks go out to Uwe Steuler for fulfilling this promise. “
