Two defeats at home mark the seventh matchday in the DRL
Both away teams were successful in the seventh matchday of the German Wrestling League. The championship leader VfK Schifferstadt was able to abduct both points from Eisleben with a score of 18:8 and is still standing at the top of the league. The chase duel between Nendingen and Ispringen also went in favor of the visiting team. Despite four individual victories, the ASV Nendingen had to recognize the superiority of the Leipold team. The clear 18:7 victory is owed especially to the strong freestyle axis around Anatoli Buruian, Maxim Sacultan and Davit Tlashadze by the KSV Ispringen.
The KAV Eisleben had a difficult time in front of a home crowd in the Glück-Auf-Halle. In addition to Ibraghim Ilyasov, Lutherstadt had to dispense with the Azerbaijani Elvin Mursaliyev due to illness. The high VfK victories of Lasha Talakhadze and Iakobi Kajaia at the beginning of the KAV had little to oppose. By victories of Kamal Malikov, Anzor Urishev and Vladimir Stankic Eisleben was able to at least cut its losses.
Not the best evening for the ASV Nendingen in front of a home crowd. Andrei Perpelita stood symbolically for the ASV, who had to find himself on both shoulders after just 1:30 minutes as a result of his negligence against his Moldovan compatriot Maxim Sacultan. After the victory in Nendingen, Ispringen moves up to second place in the table and is now the first runner-up on championship leader Schifferstadt.
